All the classic problems facing older Wellington houses needed to be overcome in this significant interior renovation. The home was inward facing, tired and challenging to use due to lack of storage and a combined laundry/kitchen.

Working within the existing footprint, the home was opened up to the garden via large sliding glass doors. Natural light from oversized skylights transformed the feel of the home to one that was light, calm and serene. A simple but effective redesign of spaces resulted in a home that brought the family together in a relaxed and comfortable way.
